Planted in 1886…
Charter Oak Church originally met in the one-room schoolhouse across the street from our current location (pictured above). The church was originally a Methodist church, however, it closed down in the mid-70s. It re-opened in 1978 with the help of Indiana Bible Churches as an IFCA affiliate. Eventually, they erected a building that stood until it was destroyed by fire in 2005. The new structure that you see on the site today was completed a year later in 2006, through the faithful giving and service of many.
