“The Great Promise Keeper” – Romans 4:19-21

Have you ever met a pathological liar?  After you discover that truth, do you trust what they tell you or do you doubt?  I would guess that you doubt what they have to say.  Someone’s past track record matters!  What is God’s track record.  God has a track record of fulfilled prophecies and promises.  So . . . we can trust him when he says he will be with us.  Join us as we talk about how doubt can be a roadblock to our faith and how we can get around it with God’s help.   Sermon originally preached on October 2, 2011.  

“Faith Over Fear” – Matthew 14:22-36

Are you afraid of the dark?  I would venture to guess that you left that particular fear behind years ago.  BUT . . . does that mean that you are not afraid of anything?  Fear is always with us.  We fear failure, rejection, humiliation, aging, death, sickness, broken relationships, and much more.  Is this fear sin?  How can we conquer it?  How should we look at fear in our lives?  How does God want us to look at fear?  Join us as we try to find answers to these difficult questions.   Sermon originally preached on September 18, 2011.
