“Open your eyes and look at the fields. They are ripe for the harvest” (John 4:35b). Jesus doesn’t mince words when it comes to MISSION. We are sent out into our families, neighborhoods, workplaces, and communities on a mission to make fully formed disciples of Christ, to live the gospel and to share the gospel. Join us as we look at two biblical examples of evangelism as well as discuss seven sign posts that we can use to point people to their need for Jesus in a culture like ours. “For I tell you the truth that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will by no means enter the kingdom of God!” Those are some strong words. How can we have a righteousness that surpasses that of the most religious people from Jesus’ day!!?
